7. (Optional) Ink edges. I like an aged, distressed look so I did this.

2. (Optional) Paint your blocks
3. Cut a 2 inch by 3 inch square from your fabric.
4. Cut the image into one inch squares.
5. Adhere the fabric squares to your block. Turn each block in the same direction (I turned all mine to the left) and repeat with your next image.
6. Trim edges with scissors.
7. (Optional) Ink edges. I like an aged, distressed look so I did this.
8. Cover the fabric with a coat of Modge Podge to seal it.
9. Cover the adorable box that the cubes came in with a scrap of fabric and finish the edges with ribbon.
10. The size and the box make this the perfect item to pack along with you to keep your little ones busy and entertained when you go out!
This is adorable! I did something like this with photos. One person per block but I love this idea!
